Dog Food Recall - What should we do about it in the future?
The last few weeks have been scary for us dog owners that rely on dog food companies to help provide nutrition for our best friends.

This seems to be happening more and more.  Last year Diamond Dog Food was recalled.  Of course, the list of dog foods on this last recall is extensive.  Premium and generic.
Many dogs and cats got sick and were killed from this last episode.

I think it is time to do something about it.  You need to start researching dog food on the internet.  Find what is wholesome and what is not.

The safest alternative is to start preparing your dog food at home. It is not as hard as you might think.  It takes a little preparation, but you can prepare it in batches.

The next safest method would be to buy additives or sipplements and mix them with meat and other ingredients.

Finally, there are some holistic alternatives that appear to be safe as well.  At least for now.

I personally plan to start doing more research on pet nutrition in the near future.  One thing is for certain, you may want to start doing some research if you do not want your pet to be a potential victim of the next dog food recall.
